An established member on afterdawn has been trying to help me, but I think we've exhausted all options.
I'm ready to give up. All I really wanted to do was be able to access my mp3's over the network through my xbox... Ignore the comment about bXStream, that thread is really concerned with SMB sharing. I'm starting to think my PC and xbox are not compatible
Thank you.

Every one seems to be interested in mounting a shares from a PC onto the xBox, which is easy. No one seems to be talking about doing it the other way around, mounting the xBox drive onto another machine without using FTP. Is that possible???

In XBMC 2.0, after you have set up the shares on your pc as in DJB's guide, I found that you can hover over the SMB SHARE button within XBMC, and if you hit the white button, you can set the path and make an internal bookmark right to your file. You can even rename the SMB share button, or even add another one if you wish.
I think this is new to 2.0 as I have never seen it in guide before.

Editing the path isn't new, I've done it in previous versions. Dunno about the bookmarks, etc though. _________________
