For some reason I can only boot the Slayers autoinstall DVD that I burned on Ritek G04 media. No games will boot at all on the same media(except originals will boot). I've tried the games in another XBox and they all work just fine. I have the M7+ej bios on the chip and its a Samsung drive.

Any ideas???

hi talon4x4,

Thats a strange one mate..

So the games boot on another xbox just find but not on yours.
The Samsung Drive is the best you can get in a retail xbox.
It is the only XBOX DVDROM to read CDR's.. Smile

I personally would change my bios but then again why would I because if you can boot the Slayers Auto Installer then you can boot backups, emulators or whatever.

It has to be your bios playing up..

do this for us:
1. Update your profile for us here add a signature:

Just copy and paste my signature from below and add it to your sig..
Make sure that "ALWAYS SHOW MY SIGNATURE = YES"..

Then reply and let us know how you go with another bios maybe..

What bios would you suggest??? I thought about trying M8, but I have read about problems. The aladdin is permanently soldered in (well I could always get it out but I don't want to) so I would have no way of recovering if something went wrong.

Maybe I'll try the X2 bios I'm running on the Matrix?!?!

M8 is only for 1.6.
Use the bios on www.aladdinlive.com

Thanks for the info!!!

Now here are some more questions.

I opened the box and found that I have an Aladdin32. I don't have a programmer, so I'm going to have to program the chip through the Evox dash??? I just installed Slayers v2.6. I don't see the AladdinLive_red.bin as an option. Is the Aladdin32 compatible with flashing through Evox??
