So why not to make a 'bridge' device between PC and Xbox, connecting xbox dvd input to PC output. Game images will be stored on PC, and by using some software and USB/PCIe 'bridge device' PC will emulate Xbox drive.
This not requires firmware hack, will be easy to connect, and network support will be possible with something like Xbox Gateway. _________________ XBOX V1.0

Sure, great and dandy... but you have to remember one thing FAT32/NTFS vs. FATX. And, that would reqire a BIOS that continuously runs a network while running the main code that keeps the games running. That would take a lot of system resources, and would probably create huge amounts of lag... If you wanna discuss this, please, lemmie know. I've been thinking about this for a while, and my friend and I have been working off and on testing code and such. If you have a schematic, or some kind of a diagram tutorial, just an idea, lemmie know. I wanna see. Perhaps we could change the modding world up. Not to mention, make Softmodders helluh happy (well... probably TSOPers and people who can't afford bigger HDD"s) _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

please accept my apology's (in advance) !
but correct me if i'm wrong, why not use software the likes of craxtion4 (various others, can do similar) and an ethernet cable.
would'nt this save a lot of time and effort. i know i am fairly new to the sence but is'nt "simpler the better" the more obvious choice
