I love xlink. I play there all the time and I never have any problem with my pc and my xbox finding the games together.
Avalaunch, and XBMC have an option for xlink. I have tried a variety of different methods but I am unable to succeed in seeing my games online in xlink through my xbox. Whenever I try to connect to xlink through my xbox (even with it running on my pc) I get a message that my xbox failed in making contact.
Does anyone know how to access xlink through the xbox without a pc?

Can't be done.
I don't use XBMC for kai, I just boot to the game, go to system link and the rooms appear. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

I was beginning to think that was the case, but any clue why xbmc and avalaunch have that as an option (that doesn't work)?

Yes.. With many different types of routers (not all) you can flash the bios of the router and get the XLINK software running fulltime.. Then you dont need a pc.
I was looking into this myself but have other things to fix on my routers first. lol
l8r
Hope that helps.. Goto XLINK forums and look for router info on LINKSYS.. I have linksys and i know one of those works.

Holy sh*t Hobbs? Is that fact?
I've never heard of that and now I'm all sorts of excited (damn I think I wet myself.... I hate it when that happens)
I'm on it chief!
Woot!!!
Still searching but found:

This firmware is for Linksys WRT54G/GS & Buffalo WBR-G54 routers only! The newest Linksys WRT54G v4 & v5, and WRT54GS v3 & v4 are not supported.
Upgrading your firmware lets Kai run DIRECTLY on the router, meaning you do not need to buy an additional wireless card. This is *NOT* a "Compatible Routers Thread"! All wireless routers can be used with Kai, the above mentioned models are the only routers that let you run Kai *DIRECTLY* on the router, and provide support to PSP w/o an additional wireless card. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
