What you are looking for is dvd2xbox. You need to download AID then install the apps to your xbox. _________________

Yup, Download Auto Installer Deluxe (AID) - http://www.aideluxe.com..
Then you should install a programm to your XBOX HDD called DVD2XBOX.. It will let you backup your ORIGINAL XBOX GAMES to the hdd..
I already have the aid program, now the thing is, how do I install the apps? which ones should I use since I have xenium v2.0, with evolution x8 and how do I install the dvd2xbox.? thanks

Have you tried putting aid in or read the manual on aideluxe.com....give that a shot and that should get you going....pretty much if you chip is already flashed with a bios you can insert the disc which shoud load up aid and then you can format, prepare, then intstall dash, then install all apps, then you are good...later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

As always excellent advice in the above posts.Just another option here though.Did you know that with just the Xenium OS up and running that you have FTP access to your xbox? This means that without installing any dash or apps you have access to your xbox's hard drive. So you could download and install the dash of your choice then ftp dvd2xbox over to your xbox.I only suggest this for an alternative in case you're having trouble with aid iso burn or aid disk boot up.DJB's AIDeluxe is awesome (thanks for all the hard work)and has all the apps and dashs you'll ever need.I suggest this only because the xbox dvd can be so finicky about burned medium.I've copied games to my hard drive with just the avalaunch dash some worked some didn't.I've definately had more success with dvd2xbox.I see you're a vip member so you can get what you need here at XBHQ.dvd2xbox is here-

You can FTP into the xbox, delete the old dvd2xbox then ftp the new one to replace it. _________________

Dvd2xbox is a program that can be run THROUGH a dash (in Evox, it will be under the Apps menu item). It is not a dash.
You need to FTP the entire contents of the dvd2xbox folder (xbe and all associated files/folders) to F:\apps. If your evox.ini file is not configured to scan that location for apps (very rare), then you will need to edit that as well.

So, I'm assuming you are running the stock drive...which would not allow you to have an F partition.
Basically, FTP into your box, and make a directory on E called E:\apps. Then FTP the entire contents of the extracted dvd2xbox folder to E:\apps. Then you'll have E:\apps\dvd2xbox.
Most dashboards these days will automatically scan E and F app directories for entries, but if yours is not showing up, you may need to edit your dash config file.

Exactly. Unless you have a upgraded larger hdd you will NOT have a F: drive..
