Hi
I have an Xchip installed and I tried to go onto xbox live, I had disabled the chip, as the light wasn't on. It worked the first time for about 30 min, then I logged out. When I tried to log back in I couldn't. During the troubleshooting, I keep getting the error that my xbox has been modified. Is there anyway to get fix this? please help

are you sure you turned off your modchip??
Also, Do you have a stealth installation on your xbox??
Stealth means that your dashboards are normally installed to the E:\ or F:\ partition so that XBOX LIVE cant find them in the root of your xbox..
Anyway, If your xbox is banned now you will need to get a new eeprom and try again or just buy another xbox for XBOX LIVE..
You can get on LIVE with a modchip but its getting harder and harder i believe.
Also, Do you have a upgraded HDD or Retail.. If you hdd is upgraded this could be the reason.. There are many reasons. Sorry i couldnt be of more help
Thanks for your help, I have the original HDD, I am sure the chip is off, I will check the E and F partitions and see if there is somethere there I need to remove. thanks

Just as long as you know that your xbox is now pemanent banned..
You will need to purchase a new EEPROM so you can use this xbox again on XBOX LIVE..
