hey everyone, need some help with my 1.0 softmodded xbox once again. im running SID 3 splinter cell hack with XBMC newest bulid. I seem to be having trouble getting some game backups to start. Such as dead or alive vollyball or area 51. first i ftp'd them to my HD. when i went to start them the screen went blank like they were getting ready to load..then after a few seconds, i see the XBMC logo again and it restarts. as i said this happend with area 51 and DOABV on the HD. so i tryed burning dead or alive to a DVD. exact some responce. anyone else had this problem? im open to any suggestions. oh and by the way, other games like GTA vice city back up and san adreaes witch are both on DVD work fine, as well as a 3rd party DVD called "bgi ass emulator disk" if i start my box with any of these in the drive, it gose stright to them. im puzzeld. thanks everyone.

hey buddy where did you download the latest XBMC dashboard? And also, I had trouble palying DOABV the one that has the nude chick hack. And I have a modchip I think that the file that you downloaded have been mess around and mybe they forgot to put some file on them that do not let them start.

i have a softmodded xbox, im useing XBMC and i got it from the CVS bulid on xbinx. I am useing a reail drive. im responce to what u said about DOA vollyball that may be true, but this is also happing with other games, but by the way, at least on the version i have (witch was a torrent) i have inspected and to my ability have found nothing to be wrong with it. thanks guys

I am having same prob kinda. I have modded a few boxes with no probs at all till last week. I did the mod as i have done them all, with xboxhdm. It worked well, all but for playing my back up copies. I thought maybe I did somthing wrong so I did it again after restoring it to stock, with a back up copy and xboxhdm. Again went well but still will not play back ups. I later after talking fo a friend that this box has a samsung drive in it and i need to use -r dvd, so I did and it worked . ok now here is my new prob, it will play back ups and some orginal games but not all. It trys to load but all I get is a blank scren and if I load it up in dvd to xbox it calls it xbox sofware (lower left corner were it give des of dvd drive) Games are not new (couter strike) nor are they damaged for they play fine in mine. ANY HELP would be very greatful for, cause I am lost on this one.
