some one PLZ explain to me how how to FTP with a router and maintain my internet if possible

connect your xbox to the router with a regular cat5 lan cable ,
go to xbox lan settings ,set the connection type to dhcp , SAVE the changes then exit ,
reboot xbox ,
the xbox ip should be displayed on the screen , depending on the skin that you are using ,
if not you can go back to xbox lan settings and it will be displayed there.
if done correctly you should be able to ftp to your xbox and still have your pc online , _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Here's a tutorial that Forahobby made for ftp setup. Keep in mind that you still need a ftp program. In this tut he mentions flashfxp as the ftp program.
