Is it possible to route the Xbox through a proxy server to prevent Microsoft from scanning the Xbox's eeprom/hdd key to play xbox live?

I would say no only because I am sure after all the time I've been out here since the "HALO 2 BAN" days, if something like that had worked, it would be "THE" fix for modded boxes.
It has to read the eprom and hard drive and that's how they somehow tell that the box is modded.

we gotta find some way to stop banning people. most of us probably got banned not for cheating but for just accidentaly turnin live by accident.

There are x2 config apps which
stop your xbox nic conecting to
xbox live. These work very well
and have worked well for me for
years, that and switching off
auto sign in.
