ok i tried ok avalaunch and it sucks ass compared to unleashX. the only reason i have it is cause i wanna use the irc however it sucks. can anyone help me. i got a usb keyboard. _________________ XBOX

Like its Dashboard upgrade-assuming of course that a person is online with their xbox for it do dl and it then unpacks and installs it automatically.
Plus it works with Qwix which allows to load and manage xbox titles, make Iso's auto ur game folders and has an boost transfer mode when tranferring isos from pc to xbox. Qwix features work best when used with avalaunch-like its speedboost and auto detects and connects to its IP via ftp.
Also it's got a a hell of a file of manager that allows 2 xboxes and 1 crossover cable to connect remotely and transfer file to each other. It sure beats the FTP xbox proggie thats out there which does work and I use to use until I learned of ava's remote connection, its just that user friendly and doesn't auto detect.(no disrespect to the developer but I believe it was never upgraded and still at alpha .60 or something like that.)
Try it just go to File Manager and press the start button and u will see the option for remote. It even has the option under network to for "xbox2xbox" auto create the settings for you. For the person who does not want to manually change their DHCP settings to Static along with same gateway. This is a feature I wish so bad UnleashX would adopt.
Theres more but like I said I love unleashX also. Like it Text editor and copy game disk app. And it looks so much better than ava I will admit. But since I deal with many xboxes I need a dash that allows xbox2xbox user friendly connection. Before then I use to have to clone my HDD's and when it came to the ones bigger than 137gb I would have to write zeros to them 1st then clone cause it would not copy everything. ]

My bad u had mentioned u needed help with the IRC. Could you be more specific? All I read is that u have an usb keyboard. Which doesn't tell me much. Are you able to connect? What are ur settings? Have u gone into the XML to edit it? Are u able to be online? Are u able to get a live rss news feed when u boot up? Have u done a search on xbox-scene under avalaunch dash section?

i am able to connect, i didnt edit the xml, i am able to go online, i can get the rss feeds, and all i wanna do is be able to work the irc thing. another thing that sucks is my tv cause the resolution and the font is so small u can barely read it. _________________ XBOX

OK if ur able to connect then ur there already u just need to know what to press. The only way it would look great is if you had a HDTV otherwise it will be in low res cause you have a cathoderay TV which at best is mpeg2 quality.
However upon connection press the start button and you change the font settings. Press the clear button and u have a virtual keyboard. Just play around with it and u will see the other features. U mentioned u have an usb keyboard, have u connectied to ur controller yet? In case u don't have the keyboard/controller adapter u can get it for free thru M$ (Phantasy Star Online USB Keyboard Adapter for xbox Part # XD9-03152) All u have to pay is S&H which more like $4.95.
Also I highly suggest u go into the XML so u can understand it, its self explanatory after seeing it a few times.
