Hi, I have a few questions about Xbox Live I'm hoping you guys can answer.
1. Can you have 2 accounts on the same internet connection? If yes, does it cause lag if using both at the same time? (2 separate Xbox's & TVs hooked up to internet...)
2. Will I get banned from XBL if I have a HD that's bigger than 10GB (stock)?
3. If it were you signing up: Would you use (A) your friend's spare virgin Xbox, or (B) your own modded Xbox? I would rather use my modded Xbox but I don't want to be banned because of its HD upgrade. I know to boot original bios with chip off, but is that safe enough now?
ps sorry if 1 of these has been asked 2 many times, thanks in advance . _________________ [XBOX v1.6b / Xecuter 3 CE / Western Digital Caviar SE 300GB HD / ATA166 IDE Cable / XCM Cystal Clear Case / Red Firework LED 80mm Fan / 12v Fan Mod / UnleashX Default Dash]

*oops bumped my own topic*
k after looking around it seems that a bigger than stock HD will get you banned... I'll be signing up w/ my friends virgin box, but I really would like to know the answer to 1.

1) you dont get banned for having a large hdd. you get banned because if you played live with your stock hdd its hdd key was married to the eeprom. so when you upgraded your hdd the new hdd key broke the marrage...lol...so you got banned.
2) if you have a "vrigin" xbox that hasnt been plyed on xbox live you can upgrade the hdd and use the normal precautions for playing on xbl and yoll be fine.
3) im not sure about your last question...sorry _________________ [RIP Radio]

aiight since it's only logical for 2 Xboxes running Live & sharing the same broadband connection to suffer from some lag...
What's the best broadband service? the fastest _________________ [XBOX v1.6b / Xecuter 3 CE / Western Digital Caviar SE 300GB HD / ATA166 IDE Cable / XCM Cystal Clear Case / Red Firework LED 80mm Fan / 12v Fan Mod / UnleashX Default Dash]

cable broadband usually has a faster download speed (approx 3mb-6mb download and 256kb-512kb upload speed).
dsl broadband usually has a faster upload speed (approx 1mb-3mb download and 512kb-786kb upload speed).
the faster download speed is good for playing games online...the faster upload speed is good for hosting games on the internet.
