I have php nuke 7.5 and just got your VIP games module (good work) /The only problem is that in admin I get the following error in catagorys
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/davenweb/public_html/electrob/includes/sql_layer.php on line 238 No Existing Categories
And this error in games

I have installed the tables ect. and updated the index.php file (and the header). I have activated the module ect. When filling in an new game form or a new catagory form I just get a blank page. PLEASE HELP

Hi,
I would personally re-install from scratch.. You have obviously missed something in the INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.. DID YOU READ THEM?
Kimmi and another few testers will have it on their own site veyr soon.. I can tell you now that there is nothing wrong with the ++ module as i am using it on HQ and it gets tonnes of visitors.. Go and have a look. Its no different to what you are using.
anyway, let me know how you go.. If you can give me admin login i would be please to come and check it out for you since you have become a VIP MEMBER!
I sent the details in the ticket, love the module and the site. Just hope you can spot the fault.

thanks for that but i get a error saying unauthorised.. I live in Australia too if that has anytihng to do with it. Maybe your server only allows certain ip ranges.. (i dont know).. Very strange.
anyway, as soon as i can access the site ill help no probs.. Another thing to try would be to first install the pnFlashGames v0.5b (free version) and see if that works..
I just installed a special module to check my php nuke version and it confirms its 7.5,
I checked the beta 5 module version and get the same error
Everything works except the admin for adding and editing catagorys and games,
I used phpmyadmin to confirm the tabels are there and they are.
I have re-installed the VIP version (love the tell a friend feature)
Just seems its a admin fault and it is 100% phpnuke 7.5

Hi,
i left some replies in your VIP TICKET with what to try.
First try chmodding all the files and folders in the Flash_Games folder..
Give them full read/write permissions.
Then remove all your cache and try again.. if it still plays up follow that link i gave you to the topic talking about SQL DEBUGING.. it tells you how to turn on the SQL DEBUG in PHPNUKE so it displays the exact error.
If the error isnt chmod related i bet its something on your server. Who are you hosting with and on what sort of box?? Running apache what?
anyway, i could send you a .sql inject file to get you out of trouble until you sort it out.. Its definately not the module mate because every other site is using it too..

Just like to say I had this same problem when updating from 0.4beta to 0.5 beta. It turned out to be the index.php in the main root. I backed up that file before upgrade.. replaced it with my old backup one and 0.5 beta worked fine and the site too..?? maybe there is a added mod I installed or something that needed a pease of code in the index.php file.. Try this you might be able to get forahobby on your site to help

If you installed on another phpnuke instlalation then thats telling you there is something wrong with your current phpnuke install..
Hey, i was just thinking too.. You dont have your forums enabled.. The FlashGames uses som escripts from the forums.. Maybe try enabling the FORUMS (activating the module) and then go back to FLASHGAMES ADMIN..
I just dont know how this is happening.. It has to be your phpnuke..

joker,
before i send you these sql files to inject.. Are you sure you have the FLASH_GAMES directory and all files under it as READ/WRITE CHMOD 777??
Just give all files read/write access in the FLASHGAMES module.
Im can tell you now after a couple of other users have install the ++ version is that you have issues with your phpnuke.
Either you have upgraded from a older version say 6.5 or something using upgrade scripts and sometihng is missing or you have manually edited and added/removed some main code..
You still are the only person with this issue and i know there are quite a few ++ installations out there..
