I have literally no idea what I'm doing here. I try to install Emulators from my computer to the XBOX and nothing shows up.
I try to find roms, but can't.
I just want to play some freaking games lol.
Someone help, I'm trying to use the ethernet transfer process, this is the website that is the background to my modded xbox I bought, running evox v+3935
I want to get XBOX games stored on it if possible, as well as some of the old gameboy/gamecube/N64/SNES games to play
Any advice is appreciated

Make sure you have put the emus in the right folder and make sure they have been spelt right also if you have not tried rebooting try that and put the roms in the same folder as the emu and make sure the emu reads the right type of file type if that does not work tell me and I will do the best too help
Or even just trying to reinstall evox all together
If you need a download of hexen 2017 to reinstall evox just let me know or if you use the slayers evox 3.3 it will atuomaticly make the emus folder and put all the emus you need.

"Auto Installer Deluxe" is what you need. If your XBOX is already modded, you just burn AID to a DVD and pop it in your XBOX. You can install new dashboards, emulators and even get rom packs.
Agree very much about using an AID disc. It has a good selection of emulators and installing them correctly is what AID is there to do. However they won't be the most up to date so you'll have to find a source for more recent versions.
Burning a disc for use on the Xbox can be problematic because certain disc drives used in the various Xbox versions are very picky. The rule is to use DVD-R (the only proven universal Xbox friendly media type) burned, preferably, using ImgBurn. At its default "Write image file to disc" settings
and the typically lowest supported speed (x4) it works for most Xbox users without any problems. .
AID also won't provide you with any of the ROMs although it does provide ROM storage folders as part of its install options.
Finding Xbox ROMs has been made more difficult in recent months. Several popular web sites for such things have been closed down and others overreacted by removing everything when the copyright owners of some stuff belatedly decided to threaten take action. A lot of legal material was also lost at the same time.
The fact is Xbox ROMs and Xbox ISOs are still out there if you Google a bit.
I'd also recommend installing a different main dash using AID too. Nothing wrong with EvoX for many and certain specific purposes but it is now better installed as an app.
The problem is it doesn't have a built in file manager. When you're dealing with apps, emulators, games, ROMs and updates a file manager on the Xbox itself I'd say is pretty much essential.
UnleashX or XBMC are the primary alternative recommendations. If you install one as the main dash then I also suggest installing the other as an app.
But there is something we need to determine here before doing anything and that is what size HDD does goeagles614 have fitted in his Xbox.
If it is still the <10GB retail one then, if he's serious about wanting to install Xbox games as well as a lot of emulators and ROMs, then replacing that with a larger one is also essential.
There are individual Xbox games in particular which actually exceed the free space available on a retail HDD.

My big issue is that my DVD drive/Disc reader has quit working. So I’m trying to find a way to make the Xbox useful without using any discs. I try to close my tray, it closes and the green light just continuously flashes. Just happened over night.
Therefore I don’t think re-installing or using disc help will help.

Not having a working disc drive is a problem.
You can not just unpack an AID ISO and transfer that in as an app because the paths in the config.xml will be all wrong ie. they use the D:\ drive rather than where it is actually installed. AID from disc has a menu option to install it to the HDD and that is what it needs to be used so the paths are correct.
Whether somewhere in AID there is a well hidden config.xml for the installed option I do not know. Someone here might know.
The only installer I know with a specific HDD installed version is HeXEn. It is/was called HexIns and, annoyingly the config.xml was written to be installed on the root of the E:\ drive rather than in E:\Apps. HexIns is difficult to find but HeXEn 2017 may have been re-written to allow direct HDD installation too, I could be imagining that though.
But HeXEn/HexIns is not AID and certainly doesn't have everything even an AID Lite version includes in regards to goeagles614's requirements. It could be adapted if you were willing to re-write the entire config.xml but for most that is an impractical suggestion.
So what is best to do if the disc drive is not working?
I'd try to get that fixed. I'd bet it is a Samsung disc drive and despite people saying they're the best, over time they are not. The tray drawer not closing properly or opening/re-closing//re-opening is a VERY common problem.
The drive belt slipping because it has stretched or is worn is often but not always the problem.
This can sometimes be fixed by using a replacement belt or even just refurbishing the old one by dunking it in almost boiling water for thirty seconds and then drying/cooling it on clean kitchen towel.
Try to handle it as little as possible when refitting ie. use rubber gloves to prevent sweat/grease from your fingers contaminating it.

I’m not familiar at all with what you’re saying. It’s all sounding like a foreign language to be honest.
If I already have a modded system with ability to use the Ethernet to transfer emulators and games, why do I need a disc? I thought i could use Ethernet and put Files into folders for it to work.

Just grab Babylon, install the updates and be done with it.
Babylon (I think there have been three versions now) are SPPVs update of SID/AID ie. it is an installer.
AFAIK you can not just FTP it to your Xbox for the reason I stated earlier ie. like AID it is designed to work from disc.
You could use the game save exploits from it, FTPing them into place but without using the appropriate original exploitable game disc I do not think there is any way to use them.
In short, AFAIK, Babylon will only work by using a disc at some point but you'll need SPPV to confirm that.

Babylon is the any approach method. It can be used via disc, USB, HDD, XBOXHDM, Xplorer360 or FTP.
Install it on your PC and install the updates then run it. Pick Option 3 (Extras) and it will give you the FTP options
Thanks for confirming that, hope it helps goeagles614. Useful info.
As indicated I wasn't sure so just assumed it was just disc based like AID. Whilst AID and via it SID too can be installed to the HDD (which is what I do on all my Xboxes) that needs be done from the AID disc's own install menu.
