Hi Guys, I have THPS4 on Xbox hard drive (it's been softmodded using Rocky5s softmod tool) and when I load a save game it freezes if the music is enabled,Anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? This also happens if I load the game from retail disk.
I've been trying to sort this problem since 2006 and I thought maybe today is the day I sort this for good

Hi Bigwillyboy and welcome to the site.
In the old days you used to always remove videos and audio from the game ISO so you could install fit more than one onto a retail Xbox HDD. With that said, it's probably a bad or downsized ISO. Enjoy the site!
Its been years since I used any of these so cant remember if there are any Tony Hawk updates/fixes or not, but worth a check.
Something to also consider is it could be a hardware issue. XBOXs used dollar store RAM. Almost none actually have 64MB and its possible Tony exceeds available RAM when also playing music. A number of XBOX games push it right to the edge, with some to the point of being barely playable.

wellif i erase the save game and start a new game i can play with music but once i save and come back i get the freezes

Did you install/rip the games from original media with DVD2Xbox or were they downloaded from the net?
Are these games in a single XISO format <game_name>.iso file or were they in archives with a lot of files and folders to extract and FTP to the Xbox?

Tried Retail disks and rips online, I've worked out if I just play with the music off it works fine so that's what I did lol
