Also does it matter much about using a 64 bit vs 32 bit program or does it not matter which one I use I was wondering if the Xbox would be ok with 64 bit _________________ Xbox Halo Green Limited Edition v1.4

The paid version of FlashFXP has a truncate function. You can also use XBOX Renamer or a batch file to truncate the file names prior to FTP

Using a 32-bit or 64-bit FTP client on your PC will not matter to the Xbox.
The problem is not the PC side; it's the Xbox refusing to accept files being transferred that don't meet the FATX filesystem naming limitations.
Max of 42 characters for file names
Filenames can only contain these characters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwx yz0123456789!#$%&'()-.@[]^_`{}~ (that includes spaces)
Some replacement dashboards (e.g., UnleashX) have a setting to automatically rename files that don't meet these restrictions for files transferred to the Xbox.
Additionally, FATX limitations include:
4GB / 4096 Megabyte 4294967296 bytes Max file size
A maximum of 240 in total folder depth (thats a folder inside a folder inside a folder inside a folder up to 240)
A maximum of 240 folders/files in each folder (thats a flat limit)
A maximum of 4096 files/folders in a single root folder (this is the grand total of files that can be stored in any single root sub folder)
Cluster sizes supported = 4 KB 8GB to 64GB, 8 KB 65GB up to 128GB partitions, 16 KB 129GB to 256GB partitions, 32 KB 257GB up to 512GB partitions, 64 KB 513GB up to 1TB partitions
Don't play too many different games or apps. You'll hit the max number of folders allowed in a directory (E:/UDATA and E:/TDATA):
the 240 limit applies here too and once reached you will not be able to start any new game/application. The game or application will boot to a black screen.
