Hey Everyone.
I Just finished a handy mod for the 1st Gen XBOX by adding a bridge to it. The mod is fairly simple and low cost. Link to Product: http://www.amazon.com/Vonets-Wireless-Dreambox-Network-Printer/dp/B00H4WMZ1O
I wired this little guy to my box by cutting off the male end of the USB power line and splicing the wires to my #4 Controller port inside the box itself without removing functionality to the port. Then removed the case for the router and mounted it just under the DVD drive caddy. I also cut a notch near the rear of the case to allow the ethernet cable line to simply plug into the existing ethernet port on the XBOX.
The result is a fully self contained WIFI enabled XBOX for cheap. Perfect 1st mod for the curious tinkerer.

Much appreciated for sharing your project. There ARE still people out there that still use their Classic XBOX and this can only help to serve as something new to try. Once more, thanks for sharing, this is an awesome project to try.
