HERE ya go!
use above link and take it from the first archive part! (babylon is divided across four archive parts)
go into each sublink (the link on this response takes you to the four babylon archive parts) and wait for roughly "thirty seconds" for the download to automatically start!
dowload the items ONE AT A TIME then move on to the next and DL it after the prior DL has fully finished til all four babylon archive parts are in your possession!
when done, KEEP all the DL'd archive parts in the same directory and expand from the "xxx.7z.001" file!
have fun!

Here's a few probs I noticed...
The tutorial video won't play from the main menu. When I select tutorial it just says (empty). I got it to play with XBMC fine.
When I select "Single Boot Softmod with UnleashX" the pop-up window says "This will Format C and install Babylon and an Evox dashboard. Press YES to continue."
This was a little unnerving because I wanted UnleashX not Evox. I figured it was a typo and hit YES. It seemed to finish much faster than I expected but I got no errors and rebooted. When I rebooted I got an E21.
When I select The Works - E it says:
Unable to execute command.
Item:
Action:
Batch process failed.
The last item was: .
Action:
So it looks like I'm going to install each emulator one by one...

That means most likely you didnt have the EEPROM in the right spot Thats why it tells you to backup your EEPROM first, so it knows where it is for EEPROM patching.
For any Babylon Shadow C mod (The Works is Shadow C) you must have E\Backup\eeprom\eeprom.bin
E21 is a generic bullshit error. Its pretty much "gee im feeling pissy" BOOM E21 lol. Usualy a reboot gets rid of it. Also for anything to work if you are running a Shadow C you need to disable it otherwise Babylon cant touch the C drive to install the mod etc.
For the tutorial vid via disc you need to use the filemanager and go to D\Tutorial and click on the WMV. It doesnt have the autoplay via menu like via HDD due to memory limitations

Yup. My problem entirely. I ran config magic and created the backup to make sure I had them in the right spot. And then right before I tried to run the install, I formatted my E drive. I totally forgot that the backup was on the E drive.
Also explains the E21. Because I didn't have the eeprom backup, it didn't install the dash. No dash = E21.
All that's left is that typo. Like I said, it was a little unnerving for it to tell me it's going to install evox when I selected unleashx.

You figure 5 xbox installer config files, maybe 3 or 4 thousand lines of script I was bound to make a typo somewhere Writing those things is mind numbingly tedious. Even after doing one I want to gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon lol

I just tried the link in Amiga1200's post at the top of this page to the Mediafire downloads for SID 5 Babylon and as far as I've tested it does work. The download certainly started OK for me using FireFox.
One thing I would say is that if you are using a third party or plugin download manager: don't. I normally use FireFox with DownloadThemAll a FireFox Addon which usually works fine. But on some sites the download will start but instead of the actual file it will quickly download a short FireFox document.
This is typically an error code and/or message that you've exceeded your download limit or some such nonsense. I eventually realised this was a problem caused by some kind of DownlaodThemAll incompatibility issue and not the download itself as I'd previously thought.
What I've found is that if I simply use the built in FireFox downloader or another browser eg. Opera and select "Save" at the prompt the download will start correctly. It does take a some time to start.
Originally I found S5Babylon on another forum but it disappeared from there some time ago. Pity because that forum is still very active and I have questions about installing and using it from disc that nobody there now knows the answer too. Where is SPPV when you need him?
Like some others were reporting here the Tutorial video doesn't play from the main menu either via disc or if you install it on the HDD from disc. Works ine if you launch the .xmv direct from a file manager.
I was hoping this was caused by my install method so I decided to try the only confirmed/explained/recommended method in the ReadMe/written tuturial, open to me: via USB memory device.
I have actually managed to find a Xbox working 4GB flash drive and I was going to try installing it that way on a test machine to see if that works better. But, from the sound of it, the install method actually isn't the issue.
BTW "injecting" the S5B files onto the flash drive via Xploer360 is a horribly slow job and if you're wanting to use S5B to update an existing softmod then a disc based method or, better, from disc HDD install would be much preferable. But is either supported or not?
There is no mention of disc based use/install in the written tutorials or anywhere else I've found. Only the pre-release blurb I discovered last week here at Xbox-HQ suggested that either is possible. The inference from the written tutorial provided with S5B is that it isn't.
AID is normally used or installed from disc but its, excellent, PDF manual, makes it clear that the HDD install ot AID/SID must be done from the disc via its own Advanced main menu option or it will not work properly. Path issues I'd guess.
I was hoping I'd find a similar option with S5B but there doesn't appear to be one. Consequently without knowledgeable advice ]'m very wary of using S5B particularly after finding menu options ie. the Turorials) that don't work.
