Posted: Thu Jul 12, 2012 12:22 pm Post subject: Unreal Champion 2 freezes at forfiet game.
I have working softmoded xbox with XBMC as my primary dashboard (shortcut that runs from UnleashX). I have added Unreal Championship to my 40gb hard-drive which I have successfully installed and when I play the game it all goes well until I want to quit, theni t freezes. I can't even use the restart shortcut on the controller to get myself out of that situation. Anybody have similar problems?
Game: Unreal Champion 2 (NTSC-U).

Was this an ISO you downloaded or did you rip the original game to HDD? What softmod are you using? Have you deleted the contents of E/Cache and the X,Y,Z drives?

I own the game but unfortunately don't know how to properly make the .ISO file myself so I have it dl'd and ftp's the files over to my softmoded Xbox.
I used SID v5.1 to softmod my Xbox and i'm currently using XBMC as my primary dashboard (shortcut ran from original UnleashX).
Infact I did have a freeze problem with Halo 2 before I was suggested to clear my cache folder. I'll try that and post back as soon as possible.

I only have /E/ drive showing up I don't have X,Y, Z. So I went ahead and deleted the all the contents within /E/Cache directory and restarted the Xbox and launching the game, but when I forfeit out of an instant match I froze once again. This really is busting me bad.

I know something that might work...on Lego star wars, the game will freeze sometimes (but not when you quit so I don't know if it would help you).
If you used dvd2xbox to copy the game, you will get a xbe patched and original. On star wars, the patched one will freeze at a random point, whereas the original one works every time. _________________

I know this was a long time ago, but I had the same problem.
I downloaded another version of the game and it worked fine from then on.
