hi, i am looking to update my install of xbmc.

the info i have seen is from 2007,

what is the best method?
where can i get the lasted build?
i have an install that is running ok and like the layout i have.

Download AID lite (it's faster and it still contains XBMC) and extract the RAR file. Then extract the ISO file with Extract-XISO and you will find XBMC in there. You can then FTP it to your XBOX using your older version.

BTW, I have a version of XBMC from 2005.

If you want the newest download XBMC Spoof Disc September Edition from the USA VIP Server. Its in the XBOX-Other Installers section. The build I used for it is only about 3 weeks old

Well, actually its severely broken. I errors almost every time on startup and it would have a heart attack now I've moved everything to different drives and changed tons of stuff. I bet it wouldn't work once for a month now. Anyway, the newer ones are better. Back in those old modded days, XBMC didn't have animation. It didn't have a fully functional DVD player. It would error if there was the slightest problem (like something not being where it should be.
