Man I screw sayings up every time ! ok thanks, I am downloading now xbmc installer deluxe v1.43 not sure on the update the iso thing but i will read up on it. and i should be on the house Darn or is it in the house ?? Thanks again you guys here are alway a big help.

Ok got the iso burned and did a one click install, but now I have 2 xbmc files one in F: and one in E: there are also two DVD2xbox, and I never got back the cashe that I deleted in C: so..... what is the best way to make the drives clean, save my games and emulators,and get my cashe back for C: drive ? I was going to use the file manager to delete almost everything but games, emulators, game saves. and run xbmcid again. but dont know what some files are. What do you think is my best way ?

If needed the cache folder will rebuild itself ans the 2 XBMC is an easy fix if you know which one the mod looks for you can just delete the other.
You can also just delete the extra dvd2xbox.

it will only let me delete the xbmc that was just added with the xbmcid 1.43 with all the updates in F: the other one that is in E: wont . now I was going to check my box just now to see if I was right on the location of these files and it will go thru the blobs and it freezes at the xbox screen I can hear the hard drive working but it just hanging I think something is wrong. I did not delete nothing, it shut itself down after i left it on for awhile now it wont get to the dash. its getting hot in here.

Just pop in XBMC deluxe and do a dash reinstall, guess the one in the E drive was a shortcut pointing to the one in F.

well now I got 2 choices if i do a 1 click install I get my dash with the upgrades but cant get to game,programs,or emulators. If i install it thru dash install onto F: I get freeze up at xbox screen, should I install dash on E: too?for it now is gone. dont ask, its just gone or just clean the whole thing up and do a fresh install, since I do have a chip.

If all you got on there is the stuff the disk installed i would just start fresh, assures you a clean start right.

I think that is what I.ll do. now do I format the whole hard drive and load xbmcid ? and second question is how do i back up xbox games my halo 2 is been damaged to the point it does not work right. all my other stuff I can back up trhu ftp.

I got it , everything is working great, still not sure on most of the scrips and plugins most dont do anything. But I do have one question for now after reformat and fresh load with xbmc it no has a new configured blubber screen and I want my old one back, I did save C: on my computer can i just format C: again and FTP old one back ? also con some one explain how I can alter the flubber screen more, I forgot how, I remember doing something with the bios and xconfig ?

Just re-download Xconfig to your PC and build a new file to work the way you want it to, from there you just FTP the file to the root of E i think.
