Does not boot to XBMC dashboard but still to Xbox dashboard after using the XBMCID 1.43 using "modchip one click installs". pls advise. My hdd is a new 80g hdd. thks. To play the XBMC, i need to load the XBMCID 1.43 dvd and once it boots -up , i go to the Advanced Section to click the "boot dashboard" option. I would be able to use all the XBMC goodness only after doing the above mentioned steps. whenever i eject the XBMCID 1.43 dvd everything goes back to Xbox dashboard and the XBMC dashboard disappears! when i switch on the xbox without loading the XBMCID 1.43 dvd it will just boot to the normal xbox dashboard. pls advise me on what to do. thank you very much and really appreciate your reply to my post.

Is your xbox softmodded or chipped? I can give you further advice once I know that.

Since you xbox is chipped install the XBMC dashboard to your C: drive using Auto Installer Deluxe or XBMC Installer Deluxe.

http://aid.xbox-hq.com
http://www.aideluxe.com
http://www.aidtracker.com

All you need to do is download and burn AID or XBMC Installer to a DVD-R and boot in your xbox.. Choose from the dashboards menu and choose to install Xbox Media Center to your C:

oh and while your there, get a backup of everything like your eeprom etc and save it on your pc.
