I have Slayers 2.7 at current and have had it for around week and im already getting a little bord with it. have been looking into the Deluxe installers and I really want to get hold of it. _________________ XBOX V1.6

Great thread. I dont know why I didnt open it before. I still have a hard time explaing the pros and cons to some people even today ( I just have a hard time with words ) and usually the pull out the "play on words" script on me and twist things around.

Yep, it just goes to show how much everybody loves AID. I know many modders and they all use AID.. Why would you not i guess.. lol

I hate Slayers. I really do and everything about XS.
I havent been on that site in a long time either and someone was having trouble with a softmod so I recommended SID and AID and of course the jerks went off. Then the guy asked for more info and I totally forgot about the old problems between XS and HQ. I went back to review my post and found that they filtered out XBOX HQ for some s**t talking gibberish.
Not cool that they use members of that forum to undermined this site. Thank god I caught it fast enough and I could edit it before it was to late.
Pretty lame they make such accusations but pull some shady crap like that. They couldn't have just used a smiley face of some sort in place of XBOX HQ instead

The first AID download and the update should come with a .pdf that will step by step the add on proses.

Bahaha - when I read the first page and seen the link about a new slayers cd, I was like wow - it is still alive! Then I read the date. And I thought I was bad for re-hashing old threads

On a couple of occasions I too have used Slayers 2.7 to formatt HDDs, but I always followed that with AID. AID is just so much more complete than Slayers. It was such a long time ago that I can't recall why I had a problem formatting HDDs with AID, and all my installs for over 2 years now have been done solely with AID.
I must get around to downloading v4.53; I think my most recent version is 4.51 or therabouts.
Keep up the good work DJB; there must be thousands upon thousands of us Xbox junkies who appreciate your efforts. I still have not found any reason to "update" to the Xbox 360 LOL. There are nearly 1000 game titles to the original Xbox and I only have 400+ of them so far.....
