can someone help me kindly. i have a few questions
1- i have a xbox with slayer 2.6 in it, and a DuoX 3 chip not happy about the chip?? but it was in the box
2- I have looked and cannot find a manual to set up and update everything.
3- it seems that i should start new or get updates on everything with no manual i am lost. it seems a lot of people are lost i have a 2.5 and a 2.7 but no 2.6 manual
4- would like to put t3ch in it but need a lesson on how to get what i have off or saved and t3ch installed to.???
5-if you could walk me through these processes i would be great full.
6- not sure what to install in it or not

well first of all the slayers discs are very old so you would be best to download aid(auto installer disc).
also the tech biulds of xbmc isnt on slayers so like i said go with aid,there are links on this site to download but you will need a bit torrent client.
to use an auto installer disc is very simple just choose what you want to do and install from the menu and follow the onscreen prompts its all very simple really.

i had that feeling thats the way it was. if i was to install all new with a new auto installer the slayers 2.6 would that need to be removed and would i lost important files that i need. i guess i am not sure which files i need and which ones i can uninstall. can u help with these questions. this system has nothing in it as far as games etc.

when you say the slayers installer would need to be removed do you mean the apps on your xbox hdd from the installer or do you have the installer on your hdd?
if you get auto installer then you dont have to delete whatever your main dash is as auto installer gives you the choice to install a new main dash like say xbmc.so all the installer does is delete your old dash and puts a new dash in its place akaxbmc or whichever one you choose.
if you have old emulators on your xbox then aid will install them as well..
