ok, now i can connect both xboxes, and both are running avalaunch, when i try to transfer game files it starts to transfer but then it says malloc error at the bottom. i have them running through a router and have no problem connecting to each other but i can not transfer a lick, even tried music but i got nothing. i have to be doing something wrong but what, thanx

It does not overwrite files, so you have to verify a folder has not been created for the file u are trying to copy. If it exists you delete it. I know thats 1 common type of malloc error. Also if you are trying to transfer over 120 something gigs it may also happen. Though I have b4 transferred my entire games folder back then about 120gb from a WD250gb to another WD250gb and worked like a charm. For some reason now I have a WD250 and a Maxtor 250gb and it only allows about 70 something gb if I try too much more I get that dreaded "malloc error" so I just transfer less at a time and it works.

Folowed the tut borh xboxs running Avalaunch select folder px hdloader with all the hdd games on read files but says access denied when it attempts to transfer have requested through vip support but will wait for an answer either her or there would like to know if im just being stupid

Points for at least reading through forums before asking a question. Most people dont even look for themselves they just want to be spoon fed. But ask wes said if its too old start a new thread. I think AID had ava as a app if Im not mistaken. But Xbins is easiest choice.
