XB v1.6
UX softmod

I have the UX mod
SID Knave open tray retail closed tray Softmod setup

OPen Tray goes to Xbox live where the HD cable works fine, the screen looks clear..

Yet when I go into the softmod the screen gets distorted, scrolls horizontally....

I've tried having the hd cables in going to MS Dash and applying the 480P and also enabling it in ux but still the same result....

Do you have a PAL or NTSC xbox?
Sounds like NTSC obviously as pal didnt support HD..

I have heard of a issue with HD using older softmods but not sure about this one.. Ill get djb to have a look at your specs and see what he thinks.

Similar issue here.
Xbox boot screen = fine
Xbox when it hits EvoX = Scrilling horizontally
Xbox booting with tray open (goes to network) = fine
Xbox booting to game (from turned off) = fine

My problem is that I was using just the standard composite AV cables that came with it for over a year now, and have recently purchased the Monster GameLink 400x Component Video cable.
