Hello From Greece! I need ya help!
I have the xbox with a chip (fot copied games) and i found a shop which can sell me a dvd with the Slayer's EvoX Autoinstaller 2.6.
I've read so many things abt that autoinstaller and I want it, BUT the shop guy asked me what chip i have and well... i didnt knew!
Maybe the question is stupid but how can i see MYSEF what modchip i have? Open the box? The only thing i know it that when i turn on my xbox it says at the left up corner EvoX. The shop guy told me that not all the chips support the autoinstaller and that i can destroy my Xbox! HELP!
(dont tell me to ask the one who chipped my xbox, its a big story...)
Also: When i get the autoinstaller i just have to pop in the dvd?
I would really really appreciate your help for these and som advice for the autoinstaller at _Hacker_@mail.gr

Destroy your xbox with an autoinstaller?? That is news to me! You probably are using an M8 bios if you are seeing EvoX in the upper left hand corner during the splash sequence.
I have modded many machines, and have used an autoinstaller on every one. I have NEVER heard about destroying an xbox due to an autoinstaller. That is just beyond me..
Can anyone else confirm on how our AI could destroy a machine. All you are doing is installing applications on a HD? How can that destroy an xbox??? Now if you tried flashing your TSOP and something goes awry then I can understand how the xbox would not run properly, and damage could occur, but that is not what you will be doing with the AI.
Let me know if you have any other questions on the use of the installer. I have never used Slayers, but our 1.3 AI is based off of slayers, it just has some updated applications on it.
As far as finding out what chip you have, if you don't know from the boot up procedure, the only way to know is to open up the puppy and looking at the chip.

I've never heared that 'destroy' thing too!
How could the apps destroy the machine?
Maybe the shop guy wants more money... I hate him!
Nevermind, ill try the Slayerss 2.6.(isnt in good?)
Its the only Autoinstaller i found here.
(in fact i dont know other autoinstallers! LOL!)
I only know that with that DVD i put som application in my xbox.
Oh! Has Slayers 2.6 a N64 Emulator??? Where Can i find one? And how setup it? (Will it work on 2.6?)

We have AI's here available to our VIP members. It's the xbox-hq 1.3 Final Beta autoinstaller. It is very sweet and has a few newer apps. Very soon we will be releasing Autoinstaller Deluxe which is a wicked cool AI. It's the most complete AI I have ever laid controller on!!
We also have an Emulator AI that will install 21 emulators on your xbox. It will install whichever ones you want, or all.
The AI Deluxe will also install emu's when that is available.
Some AI's do allow for TSOP flashing, so that's probably where you want to be careful. That is the only way I think your machine can be harmed, unless of course after installing the disk self destructs in five seconds... cue mission impossible theme.
