I had to replace my xbox power supply and now my xecuter doesn't boot. How do I fix this problem without losing everything on my xbox hardrive? The xbox still runs games fine from the cd drive, but I cannot get to the info on the hard drive. I have the 2.5 auto installer loaded, but on power up, it does not start the program.

The D0 wire to the D0 hole??
Unless you are running a solderless chip, not sure how it would connect to the D0.
The D0 is what tells your xbox that you have a modchip.
Your chip should have LED's...are they lighting up. Because, even without the D0 in place, I would think they would still light as the chip will be getting power. The xbox just wouldn't know to boot it.
Did you install this chip or did someone do for you? _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

I installed the wireless chip. I will reseat the chip and see if that is the problem. I didn't like the pinset on the chip and maybe I bounced it around a little when I was changing the p/s. There are lights working on the chip itself.
I guess that means I shouldn't need to reload the bios or software?

I wouldn't worry about the bios or software just yet. If the chip seems seated properly, then maybe a reflash is in order

The chip is seated ok. Still no software load. What is the best way to re-flash? Thanks.
