Let me guess its a 1.0 xbox.
You got to desolder it no other way.

there are other ways, it just depends on your creativity i guess,
its really hard to desolder those holes, unless you have a good rework station with the vampire pump,
i went to a radioshack and got one of those tiny hand drills, its like a pen size, and has about 5 or 6 tiny drill bits, i picked 1 or 2 sizes smaller than the hole and drilled it out, it was a easy job, just make sure you always keep it at 90* toward the mobo and take your time, when you see copper shavings coming out, it means you are drilling into the side and need to readjust _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

i cant believe you recommended to use a drill. that is not very safe for the mobo. just be patient and use a soldering iron and a vac pump. _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

ive done it many times, and its a lot easier and safer than desoldering using crappy tools, especially by a guy thats doing it for the first time, _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a
