Hi can anyone help? new to this hole burning xbox games.I have halo 2 and need to burn it to disc, i have a chipped xbox and nero 6 and alcohol 120 and record now max, i have used win rar to open the download and get the iso file yet when i burned the iso to disc it did not work in xbox, i found this post on net

You have to first extract the real files from the ISO. XISO at www.xbox-scene.com works well. Just search for it and download.
Once you have the real files extracted open Nero.
Make sure you have a recent versions of Nero (6.0.0.0 or higher)
Create a new DVD Compilation.
Scroll down through the types and select DVD-ROM (UDF) it’s second from the bottom.
Then click the UDF tab
Checkmark: Force DVD-Video compatibility mode (required for Xbox TM)
Then click the new button
Drag all the extracted files into the dvd they will all fit.
Put in a new DVD-r and burn.

i tried this but still n, i have noticed that if you put a original or copy disc in a pc you can not explore the disc yet the times i have tried to burn i can still explore my disc and see the files i have just burnt, i take it once i have burnt the files the right way? i will not be able to view them as other games i have now? ONE LAST THING I USE A DVD+RW OR DVD+R IS THIS THE PROBLEM?

first of all make sure that u extract whatever you have downloaded ,

after the extraction you should have one file that is xxxx.ISO ,

to burn that iso open Nero Burning Rom , close the Project window that pops up , go to FILE /OPEN /browse to the ISO u want to burn/ select the ISO /click OPEN /now click the BURN Icon / all done ,

make sure you use dvd-r not dvd+r for better compatibility
