Boot to the xenium os. If you go into the "launch menu", you should see an option to delete the bios file.

y r u using 1MB bios images. the std X2.5035 bios is only 512kb and the evox is only 256kb. use the smaller images and you'll fit more than 1 bios onto the chips memory

i used the m8plus bios that is on the aid 3.1 disc. i guess its just the 1mb version...just enlarged.

if i have more than 1 bios on the memory of the chip, can i choose in the os which one i want it to boot from?

would you choose the x2 5035 over the m8plus?

thanks

You'll find other bios' in the extracted AID download.
I get better performance out of the x2 bios over the Evox bios. I run the x2 4983.67 because of my 200gig hdd.

i just used the one on the xbox-hq cd pack. i asked questions about whats the difference between 256,512, and 1meg before i was going to flash and didnt get a response in a few days, so i just used the biggest one. i thought maybe the smaller bios files were minus features.

ill just erase it and go with the x2.5035 512k.

how do i know what the bios boot paths are
ex c,e,f or e,c,f or etc...
what is the pattern for say the m8plus, or the x2.5035?

thanks

no the smaller bios are the actual size. The reason for the larger bios file sizes are for people who intend to perform a TSOP flash

that's the ticket Wink

the X2 bios has an INI file which must be placed on the root of the xbox E drive. configure the dash boot paths in there. For evox bios edit using EVTOOL and change the paths. Save the bios afterwards and re flash the bios to the Xenium
