Please keep your xbox more organized in terms of its directories. Here is what i suggest you do:
uninstall the current XBMC and reinstall a fresh one with AID 3.10. With the xbmc, it does not matter which directory you put your media in, but make sure you name them in the proper manner (Videos, Music, Emulators...). Just as an example, I keep my xbmc in F drive along with the music in F:\Music\, videos in F:\Videos\ ...
Try this out and maintain organization, be consistent with what type of media is placed where and your problems will be solved. _________________

LOL...I am. I have all my files in order and can play tunes off of XBMC...they just won't autostart. As of now my setup is F/Music/Pson Now I have edit all the ini folders and they all know to auto look for tunes there...but nope it won't start...I have also DL 2 autostart mangers and nothing. As for where I keep my XBMC well I have a Mac and can't use the program XBMC has to make a shortcut. I also haven't found a really good ISO program that doesn't lock up my mac while beefing up the files. Also I don't have a DVD burner...so no AID3 disc and no way for me to make the short cut .xbe file. I know 100% that if I just put that XBMC in my F or even E I could then put all my MP3 in the folder within the dash and it would just auto start. But I don't have the $ for DJB for a AID3 disc so there is no way I could pay for a PC or a DVD burner. Thats why I had to dump all my files in my C drive. Not because I have a crazy setup with files everywhere. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

ohh. I had the same problem a couple years ago, when I had XBMC and had to edit all the ini files itself. I got my xbmc to work on my xbox but i had major problems with it. For example, if i tried to run a game in xbmc it never worked. When i discovered AID and xbox-hq, I got everything to work how it should. You should get aid on your computer and find xbmc in it. Then ftp this onto the xbox. Alternatively, you should probably find someone or go to a computer store and ask them to burn AID for you. You should be able to get it with some money. [This next bit may sound pretty cheep but will work] Buy yourself a computer with a dvd burner. Burn AID and enjoy having a pc for a month. You should be able to return it if it under a month. LOL. You would probably still end up wasting a little bit of money, so either get it burned or try and modify the one which is in AID. _________________

LOL...thats great with the PC. But I would just feel bad, as for the ini folders I have mess with them and nothing, but I have the XBMC2.0 runing fine and great. Just no tunes on start up. Which I am thinking I need to mod the ini folder of the script but I don't even know how to get the scripts to auto run as well. I am not on-line so that would be the only script I would need but I can't seem to get the script running _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

what do u mean by autostart tunes... To play music, you go to my music -> music (folder) and whether it is located in E:\music\, F:\music\, C:\music\, it will display them all. from here you select the music to play. _________________

He wants music to play as soon as XBMC loads.
I found this on XS, it may be what your looking for. Find your Autoexec.py file and add this:
Code:
import nt, xbmc, xbmcgui
from random import Random
from time import *
def getRandomPlaylist(Path):
seed = time()/1000
g = Random(seed)
list = nt.listdir(Path)
intcount = len(list)
number = g.random()*intcount
intnumber = int(number)
return list[intnumber]
dialog = xbmcgui.DialogProgress()
#Define Playlist Directory here
path = 'Q:\\UserData\\playlists\\music\\'

Wow thats it...I am going to go home and test it right after work. I could always just find the tunes and play them but Greven hit it right on. I think that is what I have been missing. Thank you Greven that was a great B-day gift _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
