Ok This is crazy but when I had XBMC on my old HDD it had the file manger as a blade and it would load videos in any drive. But this new on it won't read the videos nor does it have the file manger blade? It can't find the video nor do the icons work (which I remaned them and everything?? I tried looking for the .xbe or the .xlm file...but nothing is in the dash files...they are not there?? _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

there are different builds, like tech, pimped, and a few other, when you got the new version was it installed on top of a old version of xbmc, if so you need to delete the xbmc, but keep the userdata folder, back it up
and reinstall xbmc, and replace that folder with the one you backed up _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

Well the one I had was in my HDD that died, so that is gone forever. I am thinking that having the dash in C is what most of the problems are. I can't find the .xlm file to adj the dash to look for my tunes and vid's in the F drive vs the C drive where the folders are. the other funny thing is that the old one I had auto put games and vid folders in every drive but this one didn't?? Crazy So I may just trash all and reinstall it in F drive. But could I leave the .xbe file in my C drive? will that auto link it to the E drive or do I have to change the .xbe to look for the dash in E?? _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

well in the new builds, the config files are in the /xbmc/usrdata/ folder, and the old xbmc config file has been removed, most stuff is in the gui settings .xml file, hope that helps _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com
