ok i am using a 120gb hard drive. i have formated and installed evox hq auto installer twice now exactly as the directions say. after i installed the apps i took out the boot disc and powered off using the menu. i turn on my xbox and evox loads.
these options load:
play games from hard drive
play homebrew games
xbox game trainers
launch emulators
choose a dif skin
system config
reboot and power off
there is no games on my hd or emulators to load any farther but I can at least get to that part of the menu.
these options i get a loading please wait screen and my box freezes
play game/media from dvd
dvd movie player
xbox media center
microsoft dashboard
when i choose launch applications it goes to all the apps but every app says loading please wait and freezes when i choose them.
when i start my box with the chip off it seems to work normal and perfect.
i have xecuter 2.6
xapter adapter
120gb maxtor hd
evox:v+3935
bios: xecuter2 4982.67
i think that covers it all
thank you
this has been a 3 day almost no sleep ordeal any help is much appreciated!!!

On the halo 2 skin it says env error instead of drive names and it still says the free space.

Just a suggestion... why not change to a different BIOS? 4982 is not very popular and, while I don't recall the details, I think there was a reason for it. I've used 4981 and 4983 successfully. Try it and see what happens! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

I would start with a reflash.
Then unlock your HD.
Then reformat your HD and prepare HD.
Then go ahead and install the dashboards then apps.
Lock HD.
Finally, install DVD Region Free. You machine will then need rebooted.
All should be well. I too use the 4983 bios'. With a 120GB HD you can use the 4983.06 bios. If you use the 4983.67 bios that is fine too, and will be good to have in the event you upgrade to a larger HD down the road. you won't have to change bios' again.

Wait, I said that... Okay, an old man once said, ".......

I say "Don't mod your machine if you want to do ANYTHING today. Mod your machine when you don't want to do anything for DAYS!" _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Dont use the HALO 2 skin then.. Easy!!
It must be corrupted or wasnt made correctly.

hi m0li6,
Yep, you can add the tutorials directly from our website.. Just click on the link 'Write Tutorial' while brosing the Xbox Tutorials Section..
If you have screenshots or want to submit it in word (.doc) Acrobat (.pdf) etc you can email it to us and we will add it..
Now when i add a tutorial i have been starting to submit to both the tutorials page and the downloads section so to make sure everyone can find it.. We have so many files on here now..!
anyway, enjoy your modded xbox and hope to see you cruising around our forums and adding content..
