Eidos up for grabs?

Eidos took a huge hit over the last couple of days, on the back of fever-pitch talk regarding a buyout and with EA being singled out as a possible suitor, Eidos shares tumbled over 30% yesterday as they announced that no-one is looking at buying them, least of all EA. Gamesindusty insiders believe that EA are very interested in Danish developer, IO Interactive, the guys behind the excellent Hitman series.
Eidos also announced yesterday that Hitman, although selling well, was over-ordered by some 700,000 units.
With the Eidos share price rising so dramatically last week, and then falling some 30% over the last 2 days, we could see renewed interest from the larger publishers - EA, Activision or Atari? Maybe Microsoft will have a look at them, $325,000,000 is not a lot of money after all.
