Whilst 2020 and, so far, 2021 have been somewhat of a right-off, 2022 is looking like the year. The year for great games, no masks, and maybe even the return to normality. With everything being disrupted in one way or another, we guess it is all still a bit up in the air.

The Best Games of 2022 for Xbox Series X

What we can say for sure about 2022 is that the best payout online casino Canada has to offer will still be found at new-casino.ca. That’s a given. But for now, let’s feast our eyes on the games due for a 2022 release. That will certainly brighten our spirits.

2022 Releases:

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

As great as a new Suicide Game sounds, one set in the Batman: Arkham universe is just a little mind-boggling. You’ll play as one of four main characters; Harley Quinn with her baseball bat, Deadshot and his wrist cannons, King Shark has two nice cleavers and Captain Boomerang with you guessed it, his boomerang.

We know that Superman makes an evil appearance but whether he’ll be joined by Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern and crew is still up in the air. Some great anticipation. It’s going to be a 1-4 player co-op with the ability to jump between characters. The trailer looks epic and we can’t wait.

Hogwarts Legacy

Fans of the game may be a little upset that Harry, Hermione, and their other friends won’t be here; it’s set back in the 1800’s so a little before their time. But that doesn’t look to take anything away from the game. This is going to be an open-world RPG following a student with a penchant for ancient magic.

Plenty of spells, friendships, and battles will ensue and for any Potter fans, 2022 can’t come soon enough.

Pragmata

OK, we don’t have a whole lot to go on but what we have seen is so weird and dysfunctional, we can’t help but be incredibly intrigued. Based in some futuristic New York, and the Moon of course, you play as a Death Stranding-esqe, spacesuit-fitted chap who seems to be searching for a young girl.

With graphics that make everything else look old, it is going to be cutting edge from the team that brought us Resident Evil and Death May Cry. Sci-fi at its best with robots a-plenty and even some hologram cats. Keep an eye out.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Techland’s original was a huge success and Dying Light 2 takes the player further into the storyline this time. The zombie apocalypse is 15 years more developed and has entered into a new period, a whole lot darker than before. With its updated title now including “Stay Human”, it’s an obvious sign that society has reached a new low, becoming more barbaric and primal.

You’re Aidan, a survivor just trying to tough it all out where you spend the day trying to ally with different factions and make game-changing choices; night is all about the zombies. Plenty of updated parkour in this one with more options for weapons and fighting styles. Techland have assured that only 50% of the full content of the game will be seen through a single playthrough. Exciting.

Second Extinction

If you’re a little tired of fighting zombies, then this dinosaur fight will certainly be a breath of fresh air. But not just regular dinosaurs. No, these babies are just mutated enough to make it a fair fight. This Systemic Reaction shooter may not win any awards for the storyline but it sure looks great.

This classic player vs computer, multiplayer will see plenty of guns, plenty of blood, and just a hint of lizard as you battle it out solo or with a gang to rid the world of these pesky guys. The storyline seems simple enough so the team will get to focus their energy on making these fights look just the part.
