Gentoox updates delayed for some time...

Well, today my CPU died whilst transferring it to a new motherboard. It was a Pentium 4 1.8GHz donated by a Gentoox user. Once I checked up on the price of a new P4, I realised it wasn't worth even thinking about upgrading so I decided to switch over to AMD. Since I don't believe in "upgrading" to old technology, I decided to go with an Athlon64 3000+ 512K. This also meant that I needed a new motherboard (Abit KV8-MAX3) and RAM (Kingston 512MB DDR400 [PC3200] CL2.5). This cost a rather large amount of money which I'm having to 'borrow' from my student loan. Anyway, to cut a long story short, don't expect many (if at all any) Gentoox related updates until I have my new system sorted out (Possibly 1-2 weeks). Also, you can totally forget me buying a Focus Xbox to do Gentoox development on. I had considered getting one, but after this HUGE expense, theres no chance I'll be spending my money so I can code for someone elses benefit :o.

So far I've had a $35 donation towards a Focus Xbox - no one else has bothered so I have to take it that people aren't interested in Focus support, or that people didn't know I was accepting donations for this... so, once again: If you want stable Focus support, donate using the "Donate" button on the left of the site and I'll test out/ tweak XBVSET to work properly with Focus (v1.4/1.5) Xboxes and provide Focus driver updates when theyre available (currently overscan fixes aren't available), otherwise it will remain "officially" unsupported. Of course, I will let people know once I have enough money (I never take more donations than I need for this sort of "plea").

Anyway, thanks for understanding.
