XBOX-HQ.COM - Xbox 360 Best Selling Console in the U.S. for 32 Consecutive Months

Xbox 360 continues to maintain its lead in the U.S. console market. Xbox 360 sold 96,000 units, more than any other console in the U.S., making August the 32nd consecutive month Xbox 360 was the best-selling console in the U.S.

August 2013 NPD highlights:

Total retail spend on the Xbox 360 platform in August (hardware, software and accessories) reached $213 million, the most for any console in the U.S. (Source: NPD Group, August 2013)

During the month of August, Xbox 360 held six of the top 10 console game titles including: “Saints Row IV,” “Madden NFL 25,” “,” “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist,” “Minecraft” and “Disney Infinity.” (Source: NPD Group, August 2013)
