Well, those guys at TeamXbox apparently have a world-exclusive rumour. This is that not Intel or AMD, but IBM will be developing the CPU (Central Processing Unit) for the Microsoft Xbox 2. Again, TeamXbox claim that they have a reputable source.

However, just hours after the news was posted on their site, it was removed. This makes you wonder, was it removed due to it being complete utter crap? Or is it because it does have an element of truth behind it, and Microsoft have asked them to remove it? Who knows...

Just a lil' tid-bit, IBM also developed the Gekko Processor for the Nintendo Gamecube.
