XBOX-HQ.COM - Pirate Halo 3 Hits the Internet

A pirate version of Halo 3 has hit the web a week ahead of the game’s release.

Piracy groups uploaded the title to the Internet in a move which is unsurprising considering that retailer Argos broke the game’s street date earlier this week.

The pirate version of the title only works on modified Xbox 360s. Those found to be playing pirate copies of Xbox games or to be in possession of modified Xbox 360 consoles are likely to face a stiff penalty from Microsoft in the form of an Xbox Live lifetime ban.
