14-year-old charged with armed robbery

A 14-year-old Fort Walton Beach boy was arrested today for the armed robbery of two 21-year-old men.
The boy, whose identity will not be released because of his age, called the two victims on Sept. 14 and asked if they would be interested in purchasing an Xbox 360, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office report.
The victims said they would, so the suspect arranged a meeting time and place.
The boy had two other individuals with him, one of whom pointed a pistol at the two victims. This individual has not yet been identified.
The three allegedly took the $200 that was to be used to purchase the Xbox. They also took a $400 cell phone and a $400 iPod, according to the report.
The robbery happened at about 8 p.m. on Terrance Court in unincorporated Okaloosa County.
