New iPods Ideally Suited to Gaming

Apple has refreshed its iPod line and a number of the new models available appear ideally suited to gaming.

MCV reports that the new Classic iPod, which features a screen designed to suit games, and the redesigned iPod Nano which will now play both video and games, will both come pre-loaded with three titles: 3D puzzle game Vortex, trivia game iQuiz, and card game Klondike.

Users will be able to download games from the iTunes store to supplement these titles. A phone-less version of the iPhone, iPod Touch, has also been unveiled.


Major publisher EA is is currently developing Sudoku and Tetris for iPod, while Namco is working on Ms. Pac-Man.
