It's absurd, but America loves its lawsuits.
Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony are the targets of a new lawsuit filed by Fenner Investments, a Texas-based company. Fenner claims the big three are in violation of their "low-voltage joystick port interface" patent and is seeking both damages and an injunction against the three companies.
We'll assuredly hear claims from Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony and their various stances regarding the suit in the near future, albeit in the court room, not a press release. Looks like the three competitors are going to have to put aside your differences, disregard the console wars and tackle a common foe for once -- patent poachers.
