Users in our fileswapping forums discuss yesterday's MPAA & RIAA assault on a slew of Torrent tracking websites and newsgroup NZB sites. This attack is the first time the industry has targeted Newsgroup NZB indexing sites, which simply point to pirated material available via newsgroup. Slyck reports that as of yesterday, the operators of sites like TorrentSpy and ISOHunt, two of the sites targeted, hadn't even been contacted yet. "I’m not sure why they are suing when we comply with DMCA requests, but I guess we will learn more down the road,” says "Justin" of TorrentSpy.
