Over the last few years I have spent a lot of time Porting over games and applications to the Amiga emulator WINUAE on the PC and finding the best settings more maximum compatiblity. So I was very interested when the xbox version UAE-X was released.

Soon after using the xbox version of UAE I noticed that there were some annoying incompatabilitys. This promted me to investigate just how different the PC and xbox versions were. Apart from the visual and control differences I noticed both versions config files were very similar. So I decided to try and edit the config files in UAE-X to see if it would accept some of the parameters used in the PC version and found that UAE-X would indeed accept the very same parameters.

The result of this is that I have managed to create a config file for UAE-X that is more compatable than the one it is supplied with and it will now run a lot more games and Applications than it used to.
To increase compatabilty in UAE-X as mentioned above you will need 2 things:

1) The required kickstart roms (put these into the "Roms" folder of UAE-X.
2) An improved config file (put this into the config folder replacing the original)
