Sujata Softech, Mumbai-based distributor of Xbox has said that the voluntary recall and replacement of defective Xbox cords by Microsoft will not be required for devices used in India.

Sanjeev Jha, CEO, Sujata Softech, the distributor of Xbox in India, says, "In India since we use 220 Volts the power cords used here for the Xbox are different as compared to the ones that are being recalled. I don't see sales here being affected due to this."
