Custom-Xmodz has just found a archive showing what the original Xbox-Hq.Com looked like way back in November 2002 when i first started it on my own ASP Server (a mates actually). The Site was fine for the first few months on the server located in Australia where hosting costs are very high but then after alot of interest from new xbox users the bandwidth bills were getting too high.. I looked into porting data from the ASP based Snitz forums to phpnuke but the move was going to be a nightmare..

I had to suggest to the 5,000 or so dedicated members that we all start from scratch unless we want bad data in the site..

Well as you know its all gone to plan. We started the site from scratch in May 2003 and has been running 100% since..

After you all have a look you can really see how many years of work have gone into creating xboxhq and you can all imagine the bills that go with it..
