For our asian visitors. From cnet.com:
Microsoft has cut the price of its Xbox game console across countries in the Asia Pacific by about 10 percent, a move which comes several months after similar price reductions in Europe.

From Monday June 30, the Xbox will cost between US$186 and US$210, bolstering its competitiveness against its strongest rival in Asia outside Japan, Sony's PlayStation 2.

"We've had a great start since launching in Asia late last year and are firmly establishing ourselves as the provider of the ultimate gaming experience in this region," said Alex Kotowitz, senior director, Xbox Asia.

The new pricing affects Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, with cuts averaging 10 percent. In Singapore for example, the new official price is S$349 (US$199), compared with S$388 (US$221) previously.
