KOTOR II Goes Gold

LucasArts announced today that Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has officially gone gold. This means, of course, that the good folks over at Obsidian have completed production on the RPG sequel, and the game is on-track to hit its December 6 street date.
The follow-up to one of last year's most acclaimed games, The Sith Lords takes place five years after the events in the first title. The new adventure will take you to entirely new locations, offer new weapons, force powers, and a host of fascinating characters and stories. Even the game engine itself has been enhanced: The Sith Lords features larger levels and new environmental effects like rain and lightning.Source: IGN
